Sorry there a bit late but started back at school on Monday and haven't had time to post the pics from the storms.

Anyway,The Hail was some of the biggest I've ever seen(about 1inch in diameter) it stripped leaves from trees and left the daffodils pulverised. The lightning was impressive to but I only got one video still.

The 15th was great from 4PM till 6PM we had torrential rains with 4-5mins of snow in one of the heavier bursts. There was some flooding in the fields as the stream burst its banks and in the village puddles were creeping up to peoples doorways. But nothing severe.

Here is the video of the hail( The video's quaility is low because of the compressed youtube screen)

Great pics there, thanks very much for sharing them. Looks like you had some pretty hefty showers looking at those large pudles! :p

I'm amazed at the hail you got from that storm, it looked pretty severe! Technically if it is more than 2cm in diameter its a severe thunderstorm. Over where I was it must have been strengthening because it was giving light 1cm hail here and was mostly in the updraft stage, before dropping its load properly. It had a great structure to it when north of here though! Good pictures of the gust front.
