The morning started dull, mild and misty with light rain before the reading time. Around 10:30hrs the cloud began to break to allow good sunny periods, which continued throughout the afternoon and in to the early evening to make for another pleasantly warm day, the maximum temperature 17.3c. Rain 1.6mm.

Been a nice enough day after some very heavy rain 7-8am ish this morning.

Dodged all the showers, there is a heavy shower to the south/south west atm but it will probably dodge here.

Today has been very changeable : a bright start was followed by band of heavy rain with gusty winds, it turned sunny for a while then there were downpours including hail mid/late AM before a mostly sunny/breezy afternoon lifted the temperature to 16c.

A period of rain, heavy at times, between 0800 and 0930 followed by a clearance during mid-morning with a few sunny intervals before another area of showers moved in from the west, again with some heavy rain briefly.

Further sunny intervals and then more showers around 1350-1415, this time with hail; in fact less than half a mile from here the ground was white with hail for a short time after this shower.

The rest of the day was predominantly dry with sunny intervals although there were still showers in the vicinity.
