The morning dawned cloudy, cool and damp after last nights rain. Becoming brighter with the cloud breaking a little towards reading time. The morning and afternoon saw a few brighter spells, but with a good deal of cloud, which gave, a few showers which lasted well in to the evening. Feeling rather cool with the temperature only reaching 12.4c. Maximum wind gust 22mph from the east. Rain = 2.9mm.

A much better day with a lot more sunshine allowing the temperature to rise to a slightly more comfortable level this afternoon. Mainly sunny with a lot of heavy showers passing to the southeast, one evn managed to break through the Bristol forcefield around lunchtime with heavy rain and hail and gusty winds briefly. Now a fine evening with another procedure of decaying cumulus towers.
