They've got the Baron, they probably chose a cell and chased it. Right now, I'm hoping they went southeast because like Gorky they would be close to this tornado and shelf cloud set-up. Looks to me like it is heading straight for Fredonia or slightly south. There may have been other tornado spouts further northeast, the whole line looks to be fairly dramatic now.

Also notice the action in central KS heating up, this will soon start forcing the unstable air trapped between that dryline feature and the cold front.

Great news ... I assume folks reading this thread understand that you can see the anvil cloud signature on the radar, that being the less intense halo to the E or ENE of the active weather.

Not much daylight left now, looks like that cell bowed out right over Fredonia, would not be surprised if there has been F2-3 damage. Chasers hopefully made it to south side of cell before it passed over location. Now it could be heading for Chanute which is a fairly big place, like 20,000 or so. A dash south which seems unlikely with this going on, could put them in another tornado's path but close to sunset. Could be more dangerous than it's worth given they are on this cell now.

Distinguished hook echo on the cell in Pawnee county Oklahoma, reports of a large tornado

coming through now

This cell has /is producing a tornado, from elephant trunk to stove pipe then into a wedge

at least a quarter of a mile wide, at times two tornadoes where touching down at the same time.

Hi Guys

We are just North East of this Supercell which is heading straight at us in Independance (Ks) have been on the Fredonia Cell all day, saw a few Funnels but not the Nado, this Supercell was a Hp bomb, 9 areas of rotation at times but looked very Gust Frontish in appearance, we have that cell just to our North so going to shoot some Lightning before the Tornadic cell heads straight at us. This has given Paul a rude awakening!

No tornados to report yet. Hanging tight on the last of these cells going over Freedonia. Looks lie a hook is forming on it. The Tor WArned cell north of me is seriously HP. Can't tell if there is anything in there, despite tons of lightning
