I had better put my report in for the day so far :)

    One storm around noon.

Came from the SW and moved through to North East towards Suffolk.

Thunder/lightning on average around 1-2 times per minute.

Large pea sized hail. (6-7mm in size)

    Moderate to heavy rain.

About 1.5 hours later, two rumbles of thunder heard as another cell passed nearby.

Had a thunderstorm at around 1.30pm, with occasional forked lighting and loud thunder. The storm was accompanied by hail and there was a lot of backbuilding which prolonged the rain until 2.30pm.

Didn't hear any thunder at UEA Norwich, but saw a spectacular flash of fork lightning on the horizon at around 4pm.

Lucky you mate, we missed out as usual. However one very heavy hail shower here at about 1pm with gusty winds. Expected thunder as there was mammatus before and after the shower but no such luck. Still a nice surprise between the warm sunshine.
