Woken by a terrific thunderstorm at about 8 this morning; directly overhead, it was bloody fantastic!!

Thunder and lightning around 8am here, not what you expect at that time of the morning!

Heard some thunder at 7am this morning and then some torrential rain. Would have got up to have a look but was too tired.

Had quite a good storm here this morning around 6.30 :lol: . Lasted about 10 mins.

There are a few flashes and bangs here at the moment, just had about 5 mins of very heavy rain. Unfortunately, nothing can now live up to the excitement of the other week when the lightning hit the school :lol:

Slightly late with this... but there was another small thunderstorm here yesterday at around 6pm.

It consisted of just a couple of flashes and rumbles but quite a lot of rain. In fact so much rain the local children abandoned their football match... how rare!
