A rather boring cloudy day with increasing humidity until out of nowhere heavy showers devloped close-by giving me a right soaking between 5-5.30pm as well as some distant rumbles of thunder as the main sotmr drifted westwards to the south. 5.4mm fell in twenty minutes.
