After a mild and mostly clear night, the morning soon became very warm and sunny with only small amounts of patchy cumulus. The afternoon continued very warm and sunny with almost cloudless skies and a pleasant moderate easterly breeze. The late afternoon saw a little more cloud building, but dispersed again by early evening. Top Temperature 23.4c, maximum wind gust 26mph, ENE.

A super day here again, third day in a row and hoping for more over the weekend. Anyways, was clear sky for much of the day until 4pm when the first cirrus began showing from the south and it has now encroached somewhat blotching out the sun. The breeze increased later this afternoon too.

Yet another fantastic day. 12C at 07:00 and cloudless sky that lasted until 12:30 when the temperature had reached 23C. By 16:00 in Dumfries the temperature was 25C, still cloudless, and back in Glasgow at 18:00 it was 24C. Gentle souutherly breeze all day, now clouding over to 3/8 cover.
