    I was wondering if we could get them on this site, I use another site which is very smiliar to this.

    so the video appears on here instead of having to follow a link to youtube?

    Paul, this mod should work, if it doesn't I have a slightly different code bit for the Custom Replacement section.

    In ACP, go to BB Code Manager > then create New Code with these details...

    Custom Title: YouTube BBCode

    Custom Description: BBCode tags to insert YouTube content into your posts.

    Custom Example: YouTube Video ID Here

    Custom Tag: YouTube

    Use Option in tag?: No

    Switch option around?: No

    Custom Replacement:

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/{content}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

    Once done a new BBCode option should appear for members and all they do is put the YouTube Vid number between the tags and it should embed into their post, something like this 2ert3455667

    Thanks SB, that seems to work fine and is now active.

    So for those that want to use it, you just need to insert the following:

    [youtube]Insert youtube video code here[/youtube]

    The youtube video code is the code which appears after the v= in the link to a video, so using the example below (which is from the storm chase), you would use the following:

    [youtube]udiMcOr-ZIg[/youtube]

    http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=udiMcOr-ZIg

    yes Cookie I have done it on my Web forum................using BBC code.....with icon YouTube...

    with proper insertion of code a youtube icon appears with smiles...
