A rather cool feeling, cloudy and breezy start with the temperature getting down to 8.2c around dawn.

Towards reading time the cloud began to break with good sunny periods developing and warming up quickly. The rest of the morning and afternoon continued warm with long periods of strong sunshine and excellent visibility. The maximum temperature reached 18.2, and the maximum wind gust 28mph form the NE.

A thoroughly miserable day. There was light rain from about 5am through to 9am with a short moderate burst in there then since it's been mianly cloudy and breezy with no defined cloud base. The cloud's low enough to cover all the hills around.

A day very similar to the last two or three, despite a forecast of cloudy, cooler weather.

The early morning stratus gradually broke up to allow sunny intervals by 1030 and sunny periods during the afternoon; there was a veil of high cloud to the south all afternoon but it was never in a position to affect the sunshine here.

We've had 10 consecutive days with no rain and my veg' garden is getting desperate.
