Editing my tornado intercept forecast to 5 miles west Dighton or about 8 miles east Scott City at about 2150z (16 min) to 2205z ... there is another and possibly stronger tornado about 15 miles west of this one, both are tracking NNE and should with any luck miss Scott City to east and west.

The cell down in Haskell County is starting to get that look also. Would not be surprised so see that go Tor warned soon. This is the area I was expecting the big tornadoes to originate from although looking at Matt's cam there's no problem with them forming further north!

That cell SE of Garden City is producing > 4" hail and moving NNE@ 36 mph.

Not tornado warned yet.

Ouch 4 inch hail is very severe indeed, at the moment it doesn't appear to have a hook echo but if one starts to form expect a tornado warning on that cell as well.

Also radar suggests we have a large rain wrapped tornado present, this one is going to have to be watched as it looks powerful and rain-wrapped...radar suggests its about as big as yesterdays large tornado...hope its not!

The David Drummond cam has a nice rotating wall cloud near Dighton that looks like it's trying...

Fantastic rotation on that.. multiple vortices fighting for supremecy..

Radar seems to indicate tornado heading NE just to west of Dighton, should then become chaseable back to north up the state highway towards Gove, but with the other cell Gorky is mentioning coming up from behind, that one could then go tornadic somewhat further east towards Kalvesta or even Jetmore.

As the energy peak is strong at 01z, that cell might eventually be the "mother ship" and needs to be watched for safety of the chase north.

Well from what I'm hearing David Drummond is on a cell which has reported having a large multi-vortex tornado but I have to admit I'm having a hard time seeing the thing. Just going to have to watch and see what happens.

Have to admit that ive not seen any touchdowns, really trying though.

Maybe just a matter of time. Some fantastic CG strikes though.

Yep great CG's just now, I've hard there is a strong meso but no tornado on that cell yet so its another cell withthe large tornado.

Looks like there is another area of very intense upper rotation near Studley, looks very powerful indeed, could well become if its not already a strong tornado.

EDIT---Yep:

AT 517 PM CDT...A TORNADO WAS OCCURRING. THIS TORNADO WAS LOCATED

NEAR STUDLEY...MOVING NORTH AT 25 MPH.

This is rapidly becoming a tornado swarm situation, as to the one in question, KS state reports include several from "storm chasers" indicating the track (of one or more funnel clouds) has been from 4 SW of Dighton to 4 NNW of Dighton towards Shields. Would have to think that NW team is on this storm, if it weakens, would be wise to head east from Shields until clear of oncoming cells then head south to get around them for further chase opportunity. Heading back south might require a dangerous core punch or evasive action.
