Certainly the worst day of the wet spell so far. At least on Sunday it cleared by the afternoon and on Monday there was a nice gale to go with it and yesterday it didn't even rain! Today however has seen tropical like rain lasting for much of the day, bar a few interludes occasionally - vertical rain with large drops and humid air. The breeze picked up later as the rain turned to drizzle before stopping completely and the skies are beginning to clear.

Max. Temp: 14.5C

Min. Temp: 12.1C

Day's Rain: 17.0C

To be fair most of the 92mm has fallen in the last few days :) (since sunday). It's actually been a fairly dry month if you disregard the last few days. Certainly been a horror show so far this week, just like Autumn too with a blanket of leaves covering the floor having been torn off in Sunday's gale.

:) no offence but you're gale and my gale I think are slightly different. the mirror reported winds of 40 mph!!

LOL, I know what you mean. The wind was 50mph here but when trees are in full leaf it's enough to cause damage. Plus it was wierd to get an easterly gale down here, I suppose they're not all that common where you are either?
