After some pretty heavy overnight rain last night which lasted a bit longer than I first thought it would, today has been dry and fine with plenty of sunshine and only later this afternoon has there been more cloud around - a sort of blanket of altocumulus. Although there has been a breeze from the northwest today, it has felt very pleasant, especially in the sun!
