Sunny but another chilly start with rather a low grass temperature, minimum 2.5c, minimum air temperature 5.4c. Becoming rather cloudy towards reading time but continuing bright and dry. The morning and afternoon continued dry with good sunny spells developing and feeling very pleasant at times. The late afternoon saw some thicker cloud at times with showers in the vicinity. A changeable day today. This morning saw light cloud clear at first to give a mainly sunny first half of the morning. Cloud quickly built ahead of nearby showers which never materialised between 11 and 1 then after that it was a glorious afternoon allowing the temperature to rise a bit higher than expected. Some huge congestus clouds shot up later in the day to the east but nothing intense appeared on the radar.
