Im currently tracking the leading edge on radar, the leading edge looks to be in a line from Blackpool in a line down to Norwich { i reckon a couple of hours before it reaches us

A bright, mild and dry start, but with a good deal of high cloud around making the sunshine watery. The morning and afternoon saw the high cloud thinning and breaking to allow more in the way of sunshine, feeling quite pleasant, maximum temperature 19.4c. Maximum wind gust 22mph from the west. The evening and night began clear, though cloud moved in to the area bringing rain before the end of the 24 hour period at 9am GMT.
