Further good sunny periods followed during the morning and afternoon and feeling quite hot, though a fairly stiff south easterly breeze struck up during late afternoon taking the edge off the heat. A sunny and breezy morning with very little cloud, the sunshine lasted into the early afternoon but after 1400 it became much more cloudy, though still dry. A very warm day but not quite reaching the value achieved on May 11th which, for the time being, remains the warmest day of the year here.

It's gone very dark in the last hour but looking at the NW Extra radar it looks as though any storms are moving north just to the west of here.
