Just had a massive crack of thunder here and it's been hammering it down

Plenty of thunder and lightning here at the moment but rain is fairly light.

Plus first power cut of the day just happened.

thundery shower over Northampton about 15 minutes ago - half a dozen rolls of thunder and one glorious CG

at approximately 1300 and 1401 respectively the storm cell over the north east of aberdeenshire formed 2 funnel clouds, including one which snaked across the sky. quite something to watch i can tell you! great weather day.

More rumbles of thunder and very dark here. Still only moderate rain so far.

Torrential rain for a few minutes.

Just waiting in the playground for my eldest when there's lightning, huge rumble (cue screaming children) and suddenly torrential rain. Totally soaked through now! Sods law that. Always on the school run.

Bloody brilliant storms here, rain unlike anything I've ever seen, flash flooding in the town, more coming! Thunder cracks and lightning amazing!

OMG. A downpour here, strong winds and thunder.......................can't see out of the window.

A violent storm was here between 2-3pm.

It started off with extreme rainfall for about 15 minutes which flooded everywhere. I actually reckon it would of been some of the worst rainfall in the country today it was that bad!

This was soon followed by a Thunderstorm for about 45 minutes with lots of Thunder and Lightning.

My 3rd storm in 2 days!
