Photos with my new camera

Hi All,

I've been thinking about buying a pocket sized digital camera for quite a while and finally did so last month - I have an Olympus X-835.

The following are a selection of shots taken with it, so far I've let it use the Auto facility but I will be experimental soon . There have been some great cloudscapes lately which have been great to see both from home and on walks...

1. Anvil of a huge Cumulonimbus that was over this area on Thurs 3 July

2. Crepuscular rays shining from the top of a Towering Cumulus on Sat 5 July

3. Thousands of poppies dancing in the breeze in the field behind my house on Sat 5 July

4. Great updraughting Cumulus behind the very dark base of a Towering Cumulus on Sat 5 July

(Wibs, I still have the camera I bought from you but I needed something small & practical to pop in my pocket when walking :o !)

I like the second one Andy, can't look at the poppies for too long though, makes my eyes go funny :o

It really was windy and the movement to the naked eye was mesmerising.
