This new feature will be fully added to the site tomorrow, but here's an early heads up for our forum users. The MessageCentre will enable you to receive the latest updates from Netweather via both email and SMS, with forecasts, alerts and site/weather news all within the system.

Registration and all email alerts are completely free, you just need to register and your password to login will be sent to you. For SMS messages, you can purchase credits, which start as low as 15p per text, with no further charge from your mobile provider to receive them.

You can register and login via this page:

https://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=messagecentre

If you're already a subscriber to our newsletter you should have already received an email telling you how you can login to the service, so check your inbox!

As ever, thoughts and feedback are much appreciated.

Paul

Well I'd call it Northern England, wouldn't you?!

Not according to the Met office. It sort of slinks around East Midland sometimes and then moves back into Yorkshire and Humberside other times.

So netweather calls it Northern England then correct???

I personally wouldn't call it the Midlands, so would consider it to be Northern England, but that's just my opinion. Admittedly we do need to be more specific on the alerts regions and that's something we have planned when we revamp them soon.

Hi Archie, we are having a few bugs come out in the email validator at the moment, and this sounds like one of them, could you contact me via the link below with your email address and I'll make sure we look into it and get it sorted:
