I have no idea myself. Must not be a common occurance though, as the south Indian Ocean is only active when the east/west Pacific and Atlantic aren't generally, and the North Indian Ocean is the least active basin so there's not much oppurtunity for the four listed above to be active all at the same time. Anyone know of a time when they were?

Found one day, just the one though so far. On October 2nd 2005. TD19 and Hurricane Stan were active in the Atlantic, Tropical Storm Otis in the East Pacific, Typhoon Longwang in the West Pacific and Tropical Cyclone 03B in the North Indian Ocean. However, by the next day all but Stan had dissipated.

Found two more days, 26th and 27th September 2001. Hurricane Humberto in the Atlantic, Hurricane Juliette in the East Pacific, Typhoon Lekima in the West Pacific, and Tropical Cyclone 02A in the North Indian Ocean. Humberto and 02A dissipated on the 28th ending the run.

Unless I'm missing any going back, you can see it doesn't happen all that often.
