A clear, calm and very warm start. Some high cloud moved in to the area around the reading time, this cleared later to allow long sunny periods. Hot again, the hottest day of the year so far with the maximum temperature reaching near 29c by late afternoon. The late evening and night saw a light shower leaving just 0.4mm of rain. The wind was mostly light easterly, though became moderate to fresh in the evening shower, maximum gust 19mph ENE.
