These images below where taken this afternoon. at the very top of the isle of lewis. it wasn't the best of weather conditions.

a little further along I came across this building

and the beach

then few miles down the road the very tip of lewis, next stop faroe isles

The Butt of Lewis is about as far north as you can go in the Western Isles. Standing at the north tip of the Isle of Lewis, it achieves a mention in the Guinness Book of Records for being the windiest place in the UK. Look West from here and there's nothing between you and North America: look north and it's open ocean all the way to the Arctic.

I was lucky enough to fly over Ness on Thursday in good weather. Took a couple of photos as attached. One or two of the same places as yours but from above.
