A mainly clear night and a few sunny intervals early this morning. Cloud increased rapidly after 0600 g.m.t and the first spots of rain arrived by 0645 g.m.t. The rest of the day was then overcast with persistent light rain and drizzle and few short outbreaks of moderate rain this morning. The cloud lowered onto the hills by 0830 and fog persisted until around 1600 g.m.t.

In the last hour the rain has become intermittent.
