Hi GMG..What has happened to the sunshine that was forecast for the East ? I know it is dull in Cheshire as well, if not much of the country. Austria is now entering a period of prolonged sunshine and warmth, although the summer has been cooler and wetter than normal with thundery activity in the mountains.

Hi GMG..What has happened to the sunshine that was forecast for the East ?

Well we have seen the occasional glimpse of sunshine today, but nothing that has lasted any length of time unfortunately.

I'm happy that we have managed a couple of dry days though, because it has been quite wet around here recently

and things are finally beginning to dry out a little.

I feel sorry for the farmers, because they have had a real battle with the weather during the harvest period
