Fair play Paul you know your pics :winky:

The guys incredible at pictures....Like Ross said what a treat if we saw structures like that...

WELCOME on board Ross and mystery+1...lol

Ive seen some great clouds here but when it comes to the USA storm clouds there's now comparison...

Even if them clouds didn't produce lightning or a tornado I would be happy...Just to see cloud formations like that would make my day..

Just a quickie to let everyone know that we ran the 2nd Test of the Live Streaming today on the Netweather Tv Test Area, and It streamed absolutely perfectly. The Test was done in Cork and Streamed back to Netweather Hq. I watched it for 10 Minutes with un-interrupted clear views and VERY Good Picture Quality.

I am sure John will fill in more info on how it went and how we should fare over in the US When we beam back Live Pictures, But I think he is pleased with how it went today.

Paul and John nice one, glad it went well...

most Storms kick off around late afternoon so I take it Paul the stream will be live from say 20.00hrs..GMT

Or even earlier as we head for the target area....so could be 17.00....just a guess

Just curious as many people asking me.......even my hairdresser lol..

My dads planning to watch and my brothers+students and parents <_<

Anyway on the countdown in your signature...It seems to be moving faster than mine

...having a hard job keeping up

Same here I think my friends and family and work collegues will be watching.

It's a shame it can't be put on TV, it would surely get more viewers than some of the bizarre channels on there.

Got my 10-20mm Sigma yesterday, amazing how much you can fit in.

10-20mm Sigma ...your teasing me :) ...

I might just have to bring my 18 inch Reflector then Mark :D

Im so excited Mark that I ended up with a Tornado Chase dream last night:lol:

I cant seem to get it off my mind...are people having the same?

I think I ve spoken about it to so much to my hairdressers that they have there webook open on standby :) ....I keep telling them its not yet...

Cant wait to see the scenery.....I think there is going to be some States I havent been to this time......

Just think of them lovely long highways...touring in style :D

Been debating about the large Stake contest...But not sure if I will do it.....It will mean me eating massive meals in training.... :D

So I might give this one a miss.....

Seems to be a good buzz on here this year for Storm Chase but that might be because Im involved.so it seems more exciting for me,

ps does anyone smoke..and if so...how do you cope on the long journey

It's a mix of excitement and nerves for me to be honest. I'll be happy just to be on the plane, that'll mean i've found my own way to London and through Heathrow which will be an acheivement for someone who's never been in an airport!

You will manage fine :) Just remember if they ask you to take your laptop out your bag, your shoes and belt off and possibly even check your camera/lenses at security then they do it do everyone :D

Anyway, just to point out guys, we are still testing so there are one or two bugs to sort out but were almost there. Thinking I'll change the camera also. Was a bit of a haze coming down and wasnt that bright when testing. Pity, was beautiful all dat here. lighting wass probably more like driving into a supercell anyway  Thanks for helping us test this!
