Well the last day of summer has been a carbon copy of the rest of the season. Cool, cloudy and wet. Dreadful day to be honest.

Weird weekend for me - forcast said Saturday was going to be glorious sunshine and Sunday was going to be very wet. Yesterday was actually cloudy (afternoon was ok-ish) and so far today the weather has been quite nice with not a spot of rain.

After a stunning warm & often sunny day yesterday, today has been a slow worsening in conditions. Was apparently misty this morning although I wasn't awake to see it as was sunny at my getting up time (11am). Then a lovely morning until the rain arrived at 1ish and been steady, light rain since. Temps have dropped from an earlier high of 21.7c now to 19c. Goodbye summer :huh:

Quite a bright start to the day with glimpses of blue sky but also very clammy feel, quite uncomfortable oppressive feel at lunchtime. The rain set in at about 15.30 and hasn't stopped since, another quick descent into an early dusk again....

Agree there no sun this morning/very light wind and dull with some hill mist then the light rain come then a heavier pulse a very poor end to summer with nothingness really no thunder and 16.2c max.

We just about scraped 20c in some tropical feeling sunshine around midday before showers returned. It's turned into quite a pleasant, bright and breezy evening. Feeling cooler and much fresher now that the Cold Front has moved to the East.

Clear intervals last night. Mainly cloudy today: spells of rain 10-1300 and again 17-1800, often moderate. A short sunny spell around 1500 allowed it to warm up briefly. Further sunshine just before sunset! Light to moderate winds were mostly from the NW or SW.
