    http://www.terradaily.com/reports/Research..._Years_999.html

As ever it would seem that we need re-assess all we thought we knew about mans move towards a settled way of being.

As we discover more evidence to push back the first use of domestic crops it must raise the question (in a few of us) of doing the same for 'civilisation'.

The new findings push the possibility of civilisation back beyond the Younger Dryas period so maybe we did loose a civilisation due to climate change with it then needing to endure and regroup when conditions favoured (the period that we used to believe saw the birth of agriculture).

Due to the massive inundations that the planet has undergone over the past 19,000yrs we may have to look below sea level to find evidence of such.

As I see/understand things river flood plains and a warm climate seem key to the process but much of the areas that would have proved suitable are now well below sea level.

Are we eventually to prove the likes of Hancock correct in their assertions that civilisation arose far earlier than we currently believe only to be blighted by climate and sea level changes???

    Whadya think?

    (Sorry Roo!!! )
