Amazing Rays Through Inversion Fog

Last Sunday morning I woke up at 7:30 to a thick layer of inversion fog, so promptly set off on my bike up the Cotswolds Hills. During my bike ride, near Cowley, I saw these fantastic rays of sunlight penetrating the mist through the trees:

Sometimes photos with large dark areas don't look very good, however this time the darkness serves to highlight the beauty of the sunrays :doh: .

Nice photos James, and well done for getting out at that time on a Sunday, I wish I had the energy to do that. I see so many nice sunrises from my bed, just wish I could motivate myself to get out more!
