I finaly got lucky 48hrs ago...i am a very happy man

The pics was taken not in RAW....

After a realy crap year I ended up with sever storms in the MEd....

    What a treat....Started around 3.00pm and finished around 9pm....

I managed to get quite a few captures in Raw so I will processe them and hope they come out OK...This one was taken with me watching the Stroms head out across the Med AFTER a intense deluge of 6hrs!!!

I lost quite a few pics dew to the rain as I couldnt find any shelter on the beach for camera or myself...PLus it was quite scary as many bolts hit the sea regular in daylight hrs......

Will post up at some point...I was drenched from head to toe for 6hrs...now I have a very bad cold..lol......but it was worth it ;);):D:D:D

at present cant find my Canon software to process the RAW FILES :o

    Excellent pics Dogs!

Must have been nice to see a proper storm like that, after being deprived in the UK this summer.

cheers mate....It hasnt been easy for me.....I have lttle experience of DSL OR SLR cameras and have lost many pics through trial and error..

I was truly spoilt for choice...It just went on and on for hrs....I learnt some imortant things like TAKE WATERPROOFS AND WATER PROOF YOU CAMERA......lol.......Oh well thats the only dissapintment as at times I couldnt film as there was no where dry to put camera as the rain was so heavy.....But I am truly on a high of the pics I have got....Which is around 50 ;) ....out of 200 :o

..On this pic you can see condensation building on the lense ...I was truly a drowned rat for hrs by this point

    cheers Cookie...

Excellent shots there dogs42! Menorca has done especially well for thunderstorms since the second half of August. Apparently there was a biig one there on 12th September with large hail that marked the END of their summer. :o

Cheers Dogs. Those two pics alone were definitely worth the wait.

They're very spectacular shots and very nicely captured.

I love the first one in particular; it looks rather scarey actually
