Older Flycatcher Seen In The South West.

    Just to cheer us all up here is some great news for all the twitchers on this site----- an older fly catcher has been seen in Cornwall--it is a first for Great Britian! It flew all the way from the U.S.A and people have driven 5oo miles from the North east to see it. (must be mad).

    It may be an old one Rollo but it's an Alder flycatcher.

    Oooh , your all such (T) wits....

    Makes you wonder both what winds drove it here and whether our current plague of black/greenfly will be enough to fetch it through a winter.

    Surely if they aim to catch it then some airline or other can surely spare 4oz of baggage to return it home again???
