Sad that Metcheck is going down hill - but what he did was very wrong and should have more than 8 years down. When Metcheck was good, there was nothing to beat it, I do hope someone takes it over and gives a better future, I would do anything to get a website called Metcheck! Well should take Metcheck down from my Homepage...

I feel sick, I use to speak to him via email all the time . ! Can't netweather just make an offer for the website and merge it with netweather somehow.

I can't believe they are asking us to write their own homepage and forecasts etc, they probably wont pay the person, metcheck should just sell the site on...the forecasts are inaccurate, its never updated, the reports & forum have gone, whats the point in having the site!?!

reports and images are back

Actually that is a good idea, not sure how much it would cost N-W but if they bought Metcheck they could advertise Net Weather on there and the customers for Net Weather would grow substantially.

Not sure about that.

Buying a company which has gone through an image issue probably wouldnt be a good idea commercially.

Those who have jumped ship are probably already members of NW.

Report's arn't bck mate .. and the weather challenge leader bored hasn't been updated. They recon they now have a new team ... wonder how many of them are net weather members. Hopefully they will reinstate the front page reports and the warnings. The site still seems to be running on auto pilot at the moment.

Just thinking a certain alarmist weather forecaster could buy it. No one would notice a change in the bizarre forecasts and it could carry on the same in the vain.

I remember the days on here when there used to threads taking the Michael and the mods having to come on and delete the posts because of the threat of legal action.

Or don't bother going on it.

They've had several problems with that site for the past few months, plus the data doesn't appear to be reliable at all! Always stick with netweather ;)
