Anyone noticed this Cold Weather Alert section before...

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/col...lert/index.html

I'm sure many of us would like this level of alert, me included...

Level 4 - Emergency Red

An emergency red alert is triggered during prolonged and/or extreme cold weather conditions. There is potential for this period of cold weather to have wide-ranging impacts across vulnerable groups and action is important to help reduce these and help keep people alive and well.

But it also highlights the problems it could cause for many which we should bare in mind.

It only covers NW England but still maybe a good reference for everyone else.

I see that the the Science and Climate areas now have everything grouped together and that you can personalise the site by using the bookmark function on the right hand side. :D
