Hello Ross B

Where do you get your weather info from?

Do you reckon Ayrshire could get something interesting right enough?

Hi mate, i have my own davis weather station in the garden :D (Might put it online soon if i buy the parts...)

I reckon we could get something away from the coast, i'm quite confident tonight but you never know with snow. The later the snow arrives the better as it will allow the temperatures to drop more ahead of the front. Knowing my luck it will just end up being dry here...

Currently 0.3C and heading for the first air frost of the season (October had a min of 0.1C, we just missed out).

I think today for me has summed up how localised the weather can be.Just a few miles up the road here and we have had a surprsingly low maximum of 1.8C with snow showers on/off all day.Have a slight covering and becoming very icy.

Current temp of -0.6c with a few flakes in the air.

A dry, cold and mostly sunny day here in Colchester whilst i was here until around 12:00. I have been in Lowestoft, Yarmouth and Norwich for the afternoon and it was snowing quite heavily there with some laying snow in sheltered places. On the way back to essex from Norwich there were Blizzard Conditions with about 1-2" of laying snow around the Long Stratton Area and northern Suffolk

A November day here as I remember them of 40 + years ago going shooting with my uncle on a Saturday afternoon with a covering of snow, a max of 1c(currenttly -1c) and light snow showers coming off the Firth on a moderate N wind. Icicles were forming from 3.00pm onwards on the edge of the roofs where the snow had been melting in the sun. We have had snow cover on two occasions this autumn so far, the last significant autumn cover being October 1993

Currently -2.2, DP of -3, windchill of -6. Pressure has fallen slightly to 1014mb. Wind from the west at the moment. Mostly clear now with the odd cloud passing over and the odd little flurry.

Little icicles all over the place and while out driving earlier I noticed melt water was freezing on contact with the back window screen.
