Great photos Dr Rains. Well done. B)

We were there in Sept. and this brought back the

memories.

The Lady Bower Reservoir water overflow/cascade was

very impressive .. scale and noise !

Like your millstone grit rock pics very much too.

Cheers,

BL. :o

Would be nice to see Ladybower overflow freeze if this expected cold spell come's off. I'm sure I and many other's climbed it when it froze in the late 70's. Certainly remember climb up Kinder Downfall during that time and the frozen face of Mam Tor.

Great pic's.

Oh I wondered while there if it had ever frozen over.

That would look pretty.

A wonderful set of photos, nicely taken and I particularly like the clouds rolling in off the hills there. Looks like you had super weather. Obviously it's a shame you weren't in the Dales but still a very nice region.

Thanks for the comments, if it gets really cold tonight (-3 or -4) and we get some fog then I'm thinking about nipping down to Castleton to get on the Lose hill ridge for dawn in case of a nice temp inversion (its not far for me living on top of Langsett)
