-5 here coldest night so far this year. Very hard frozt everything iced over the pond, the paths the doors , we had some rain last night which froze and then we had a snow flurry which left a topping of cars white, very unexpected. The thick cloud is still here and fog and despite that the tempreature is not rising as of yet.

A cold and frosty start with a good deal of high cloud around and freezing fog locally. The morning saw some brief watery sunshine, but with a good deal of fog lingering in areas very close to this station, cold with a maximum temperature of 4.3c, the wind was mostly calm or very light throughout, maximum gust 9mph from the SE.
