The picture with the farm in the background , has the biggest drift i have seen for a while the volume of snow behind it is enormous.

The wall is around 5 feet high, with snow drifting over it.

Amazing.

I need to go to Manchester tomorrow, I have heard the best route is head north over the North York Moors, then west over the dales then south down to Manchester! :D I hear it misses the traffic!

Very nice pictures by the way :D

Very nice, reminds me of the snow there was up on the Cotswolds two Februaries ago: http://www.netweather.tv/forum/index.php?a...si&img=7394

There was wet snow all day in Cheltenham but up on the hill it was settling so I cycled up with a friend. I wish I could see snow like that again though. Great pics.

Nice pic's Chrissie. Looking at the models and the amount of snow in the Dales, I would think they'll still have snow lying this time next week, albeit somewhat reduced in depth.

Yes your pictures are really good too, thanks for sharing.

Thanks Terminal, 10 miles west from this location very little if any snow remains or even fell in the first place.

Hi Busman, i dont think this snow's going anywhere fast.

Feb 2005 was quite good for decent snow drifts around here, but this snow is more like the 80s.

Enjoy it should look even better in the sunshine.

Cheers,
