:D There was a ground frost this morning which formed between 07.30 and 09.00 - a reminder to me that on clear mornings the lowest temperature occurs at/just after sunrise with the min being 2c.

B) The sun has shone perfectly throughout the day with it just turning hazier this afternoon due to some cirrus moving in from the West.

Today's maximum has been 7c, it's 6c at the moment.

Surprised there's no warnings out here the place is starting to flood and with today's heavy rain and all this months rain the rivers are starting to over flow and places are starting to flood.

A lovely end to a sunny winters day. Some altocumulus around which is being lit up bright red by the setting sun and the contrails are still quite dramatic over the South Downs.

3 mm of rain during the early part of last night, followed by a clearance before dawn and a ground frost.

This morning and the early afternoon was sunny but patchy altocumulus interrupted the sunshine during mid-afternoon.

It became clear for an hour or so around sunset but then high and medium level cloud increased quickly from the west.
