same here John, a general fault i think, my station was showing 9.7c at 8am the highest since the 20th of October.

Mild and grey morning with temps now 8.6c. Was very refreshing change to not be cold in the morning and to not have to wrestle with two coats/gloves/hat/ice. Was in fact quiet pleasent as it meant it took several minutes less to get to work. Unfortuently the pleasentness was offset by the hideous cold I've got this week and am now thinking I should have stayed in bed.

Much milder over night with the temperature rising from an initial chilly evening which gave a touch of ground frost, to 9.7c at observation, the mildest since 20th of November. At observation, feeling very mild, but overcast and damp.

A clear and sunny start with a widespread ground frost, minimum on the grass –1.7c, minimum air temperature 1.5c. The morning and afternoon continued bright with sunny spells. The early evening saw the temperature fall from a high of 6.4 in the afternoon to 4c by 18:00, though rising later as cloud spread to the area from the west. Maximum wind speed 16mph from the WSW.

Yes i agree very refreshing , some nice mild weather this weekend to look forward to(upto 13C in parts), also refreshing is the fronts are not bringing much rainfall to the midlands and south this week, with pressure high to our south this weekends fronts won't bring much here either before pressure builds over the UK next week.

A mild 11C here, first time i've recorded 11C for a long time, can't remember when i last recorded that high.

I was recording 10C(rounded up) at 8 am and weatheronline was showing 9C/10C for north england and 11C further north in northern england at 8 am so i don't think there is a fault with anybodies recording instruments.
