First quite coolish day to Stockholm since the beginning of December.

It was sunny and cloudless and very dry, so dry that frost didn't form on grass and windshields, and it felt quite bitter with a 30 km/h N wind all day.

Tmax -0,5'c.

Tmin -3,0'c and falling right now.

Pressure: 1022 hPa and rising.

Feeling much cooler now with much cooler dew points after some really balmy days and nights, phew it felt warm last night, once pressure rises it doesn't take long for the air to cool this time of year, thats the end of balmy double figure nights for weeks and weeks, looking very blocked indeed with a very quiet atlantic.

Overcast, dull and miserable. Typical anticyclonic gloom.

The temperature has hardly budged all day, currently 7.9C after a min of 6.8C this afternoon and max overnight of 9.3C.

The air has been slightly drier with a humidity of 82% though, so at least the roads are dry, should avoid any ice later on if it gets colder.

Must be one of the lucky few who had quite a bit of sunshine today then, this morning well broken cloud alot of sunshine, did clouded over more this afternoon but some sunshine was still to had.

Clear at the moment so not as much cloud as being predicted so far because yesterday was a pretty simerler day.

Yes, I was a bit embarrassed by today's weather as I predicted anticyclonic gloom for Tyne & Wear until Christmas Eve- and in reality today was quite a sunny day, especially in the morning.

Surprisingly there was a slight frost this morning, with a minimum of 2.4C followed by a maximum of 7.6C- about normal for the time of year.

Can't say anything good about today's weather. Hovered around 7.5C all day. Currently 7.2C, no wind currently recorded. 1034.8mB. Overcast all day, drizzle this morning. Humbugs. Self emptying rain gauge did empty itself on Dave the Whippet this morning whilst relieving himself next to the shed which made me laugh though.
