Has been updated , Paul B is pretty much a mild person every year mild forecasted even when experiencing a cold snap... Thing is though this time temps have been edited to be much lower than what was forecasted a few days ago by Paul B

High pressure over the north of UK will slip south later – possibly collapsing late in the period. So dry and cold with an increasing risk of frost and then fog patches.

Saturday 27 December 2008: A moderate northeasterly. Sunny spells but some cloud. Max 3C (37F) after a Min of MS 02C (28F).

Sunday 28th: Moderate easterlies. Very similar. Still dry with some sunshine after a frost. Max 3C.

Monday 29th: Moderate easterly winds. Still little change. Dry and cold with sunny spells. Ma 3C.

Tuesday 30th: A gentle southeasterly. Still dry and often sunny, after patchy frost and fog. Max 4C (39F).

Wednesday 31st: Light winds. Dry with sunny spells after night fog and frost patches. Max 4C.

Forecast to 4th: Little change on the whole. So staying cool and dry until Sunday 4th then a 60% risk of sleet or even snow.

Max Fri: 4.5C (40.1F).

Min Thurs/Fri; 0.4C (32.7F).

Lowest Humidity Fri: 77%.
