More ground frost and another cold feeling morning with rather cloudy skies and a penetrating light to moderate north east wind. Minimum air temperature 0.7c, grass minimum –1.9c. At observation, sky clearing from the NE, with sunshine. Cloud returned by the end of the morning, lowering the temperature from a brief high of 3.5c down to around 3c by early afternoon, so feeling very cold, especially in the fresh and at times strong easterly wind, maximum gust 30mph, ENE.

Cloudy and very cold this morning. -2.1C last night but has been rising slowly since the cloud came in so a lightish frost this morning and everything watery frozen over. No wind either which is nice, just cold and crisp.

-8c here at 8.00am this morning now a superb winters day with blue skies and sunshine ,the hoar frost ( fog coming and going all night) making all the vegetation look as though it is covered in diamonds which are really sparkling in the sunshine.Ground is now rock hard and will need some time to thaw when it warms up but is a lovely base for snow in the future, nature is getting there everyone on here should have patience.
