Climate Atlas

Apologies to those with long memories - I posted this request a couple of years ago.

I have a book - Climatological Atlas of the British Isles - published by HMSO in 1952. Does anyone know of a similar but more recent work - the CA is just dozens and dozens of maps of the British Isles giving vast amounts of data on the climate. I've looked at the MO library online (the search facility is hopeless) and emailed them - guess what, no reply!

Thanks in advance if anyone can help; this is more than just for personal gratification, I'm trying to see if it might be possible to correlate changes in weather with changes in some plant distributions.
