Well, not as such but you get the idea!

All of the pics were taken at around 12.30pm on 31st December with a temperature hovering at -3C after a low of -6.0C the night before...

PS- As you can see- I don't specialize in photography!

PPS- Sorry about the quality-they were taken on the phone!

Very good quality photographs from your phone.

Similar wintry scenes here. The combination of the forever, white-coated, frosty fields and the fading visibility in the freezing-fog completely transform the area.

I am very much tempted to go and take some photographs myself. Although I want to buy a new digital camer first. I need to look through various websites to find a quality camera at a reasonable price.

You Reckon? i thought the pic quality was shockingly awful compared to some of the ones on here! I do have a 10MP Canon but i didnt take it becuase i thought i wouldnt need it! :D . Yup a Decent camera is a must!

I have to agree an area looks so much more magical under a thick coat of rime/ice.

Those pics are really nice thanks for sharing :)

No problem its my pleasure :)

Yeah for once! We usually miss out on all the wacky weather events (im moaning again!) But that is one think the W.Mids has in its favour-Cold temps being far inland/landlocked, night-time temps do tumble in the winter with a lack of sea breeze.

The place where i took the pics is even more rimey and icy today due to another night of freezing fog and -4C from last night.

Thanks for the comments guys!
