Had some nice sunshine earlier, which was very welcome given that I've had nothing but

horrible, grey, murkiness during the last few days - unfortunately, it's already beginning to

cloud over.

Awoken to this very strange bright sunny stuff! Blue skies and unbroken sunshine this morning and less cold than of late. Temps been steadily rising over last 24 hours now 3.2c. Should be much more pleasent for getting out & about in. Cold night ahead no doubt though.

Amazingly found a good sunrise and frost this morning. Even saw a snow flake while I was the moors. A very small area of frost just above Curbar.

Clear intervals and frosty last night here in Coventry. However, either late in the night or around dawn there was a spell of light snow that gave a patchy thin covering. A pleasant and less cold day with sunny spells at times, a chilly east breeze though.
