Annoying when you have temperatures so low for a few weeks and when precip finally comes along it is all rain and when the rain leaves the temperatures dip so low again!! :yahoo:

Temperature is heading downwards now after an evening of rain. Going to be very icey in the morning, maybe as bad as early December!

1.8c :yahoo:

I know! It's very annoying, but at least it's cold out there again. Yesterday (Sunday, that is) was the worst day in a long time with 2'C and heavy rain!

Clear & -2 here. Overnight precipitation seems to have fallen as freezing rain, or more probably bog standard rain which then quickly froze. Whatever it was there wasn't very much of it and it can only have lasted a minute or two, litterally just a few frozen blobs on my windscreen. Pavements etc very icy.

For those with snow , get your thermometers ready for tonight this could be the coldest night for a good few years ,favoured places reaching minus 10 especially central southern england and tuesday night is our next small weather event with a front pushing down eastern england that could bring a few centimeters , this feature progged has more potential this could deliver a couple of inches to high ground in the east

I guess as icedays officially count as 0900 to 0900 then we havent had one now as temp reached 0.5c when snow arrived though fell back shortly after.

Currently -1.9c and fairly foggy though not to much.
