    Got up at 7am this morning after just 3 hours sleep and headed off towards the moors for sunrise.

    Wasn't too promising to start with. It was still cloudy with no nice sunrise.

    The cloud did break though as you will see in the pics and it got out very nice...

    Hope you like them, I certainly enjoyed taking them :wallbash:

    Thinking of going back for more tomorrow to hopefully get a sunrise, and i'm sure with tonights temps the reservoirs will be frozen over.

    Nice images, looks good easy walking along the old railway track. Drive that way sometimes to Newcastle.

    A stunning set of pics. The 4th one is my fave by far- the really nice dark bank of cloud makes it really contrast-Well done!

    Thanks everyone for your comments!

    I've been back up there this morning, and gone through a lot of pain to get these pics.

    Temp was -5.5C and there was a breeze which I wasn't expecting. I thinking it's the coldest i've ever been.

    I've got a white patch on my finger and it's so painful to touch so I think I might have a bit frostbite :cold:
