A few pics from today around the village

Deep blue sky and snow - perfect

Just goes to show what a difference a bit of elevation makes

The village 'dusted' !

The M62 looking a little more picturesque than usual !

The quarry always looks interesting in snow

Looking south. Again, shows the difference a few hundred feet makes

From a bit later on

Nice pics there. Glad to see the snow hasnt melted much throughout the day aswell. Love the contrast between the snowless valleys to the snowy hill top hamlets, its like 2 different worlds. I prefer the latter!! :winky:

Great pics, seems the snowline around here was about 200-300m in general.

Some lovely photos there, it must really help being so high up. I can remember from when I lived in Wakefield seeing the snow over Emley Moor, we often had nothing. As for Grimsby, not a single drop of sleet, just rain. Keep up the good work

Im amazed at how little snow there was, especially with your elevation. Im feeling very grateful to have the amount of snow i did, down south and at a lower elevation! Anyway, stunning pics and the last one has to be my fave with the stunning red colours. Well done!
