Great for you guys! I'd love it!

Nothing like that in Nottingham...t'was a bit breezy earlier in the evening, but now it's just still. Welcome to the UK's non-weather capital!

Has been a wet and windy night and early morning with the south westerly wind gusting to 37mph. At observation, still wet after recent rain, though now it has become bright and a little less windy. The morning and afternoon saw some sunny spells, though it continued rather windy. The evening and night became stormy with squally winds and heavy bursts of rain. Top wind gust 40mph from south. Maximum temperature 7.9c.

Currently 0.6C feeling like -3.2C in the wind, started sunny, but by 8.30 there was hail and sleet and at roughly 9am we had a very heavy snowfall for about 15 mins, no lying snow here, but going to guess there is some further up.

All cleared through now leaving broken cloud.

Sunny and almost cloudless at the moment, temperature is up to 1.3c after a min' of 0.6c at 0845. A spell of wet snow early this morning gave a thin temporary cover but by 0900 only the tiniest traces remained.

Quite disappointed. Decided not to head home to Inverness this weekend due to the storm, and have just found out on the phone that there is currently about 2 inches of snow in Inverness, temperature at 0'C with cloud cover.

:o Unbroken sunshine in a virtually clear sky, the only cloud being showers running from the Bristol Channel and along the M4 corridor approximately 15 miles North.

There's a brisk Westerly breeze and the current temperature is 3.8c with 87% humidity.

Morning...think the secret for snow to come is stay off the forums for a few days! :o

Aberdeen was quite windy yesterday evening for a time but don't think we got the worst of it thankfully.

This morning sunny but a few clouds appearing now.

Wind from S-SSW, "breezy", predicted to gust later.

Temp now +3

Dew -2

So anything that falls may be wintry, but the hills are sheltering us for a wee while at least.

Forecast is for showers to appear, turning more wintry later.

We shall see.

Ominous dark cloud cover about at the moment, we've had a couple of short sharp hail showers and the hills down to about 1200 ft have general snow cover. Not sure whether we will see any snowflakes before evening all dependent on the intensity and duration of any showers that we do manage to catch.However. I wouldn't be too surprised to wake up tomorrow morning to a bit of a dusting. The hills though will be gleaming in the white stuff come this time tomorrow so some lovely wintry pictures can be snapped.

current temp is 2.8c with broken cloud.

No showers here in somerset and doesnt look hopeful that we will see our first snow either which considering the winter so far is poor for the mendip hills. Or just unlucky.

Clear blue skies with just the odd fast moving cloud. Lovely day with an almost spring feel to it. Was a pretty wild & wet night last night - I do enjoy the Atlantic for providing lots of weather!

Despite the wet night last night (which didn't damped our spirits too much!) it's been a good weekend with lots of sunshine and deep blue skies. Gimme this over most of the weekends this winter anyday!
