Snow In The Pennines (19/01/09)...

    Just a few piccies of the snow that fell this avro, hard to guage the depth because its been blowing about in the wind, but a good few cm, certainly caused traffic chaos in the rush hour.

    Great pictures from both of you. You seem to get all the fun, still waiting here on the east coast. I must admit NW are not my favourite type, bring on the N, NE or E. Keep up the good work guys!! :)

    Fantastic pics there -The first set from Storm Animal are unique because of the mist which really sets the scene. And the pics from Shadowfax-That snow seems really fluffy the way its piled on those small twigs!

    2 sets of really good pics-Now im officially jealous!

    Thanks guys, Nice pics Shadowfax, I especially like the last one, love heavy snow on plants & branches, looks fabulous! Hopefully a little bit more snow tonight *fingers crossed*
