Well the Met Office certainly got it wrong for the Highlands minimum night-time temperature tonight (-1'C), with -7'C at Loch Glascarnoch and -6'C in Inverness.

Clear conditions for a short time overnight allowed the temperature to fall low enough for a touch of ground frost, grass minimum –0.9c. Cloudy conditions spread to the area during the early hours bringing outbreaks of rain. At observation, overcast, chilly, dull and damp. Sunny spells developed during the early afternoon with a few mainly light showers, which turned wintry during the early evening. Top temperature 6.4c, maximum wind gust 32mph, SSW.

A mostly sunny but breezy day, with temps of 6c, and a Dew point of -1c

The temperature was 3.1c under cloud at 07.00 but as soon as the cloiud cleared the temperature dropped quickly to 1.0c with ice/frost forming quickly on the ground.

It's been and continues to be a calm, glorious and mostly sunny day with areas of Cirrus drifting across as well as distant anvils making for good viewing , current temperature is 5.8c which is the maximum so far.

Been a lovely day here. Min temp last night -0.5C max of 3.1C and the current temp is 2.0C with clear skies. Last nights hail from a passing shower is still around so its a sign of how cold it was in the shade. Hopefully a dusting overnight becuase the temps should dip low enough before the clouds roll in.
